As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the link between higher education and secondary schools, the Department of Electronic Engineering at the College of Electronics Engineering organized a series of field visits to Al-Mumtazeen and Al-Mutafawiqeen Schools, with the participation of a select group of academic staff members.
The initiative aimed to raise students’ awareness of the importance of engineering disciplines—particularly Electronic Engineering—and to highlight their vital role in shaping the future.
Throughout the visits, interactive sessions were held with secondary school students, offering detailed presentations on the Electronic Engineering program, its real-world applications, career prospects, and opportunities for academic and professional growth. The sessions also featured open discussions on how engineering education fosters innovation and excellence across various technological sectors.
These visits are part of a broader guidance initiative designed to support students in choosing academic paths aligned with their skills and aspirations, while also introducing them to university life and the diverse opportunities available in its educational and research environment.
