Industrial Advisory Board Meeting – Department of Electronic Engineering

On Tuesday, June 4, 2025, the Industrial Advisory Board (Council of Experts) of the Department of Electronic Engineering, College of Electronics Engineering, University of Nineveh, convened a meeting with the participation of a distinguished group of academics, industry representatives, and administrative leaders.

The meeting addressed several key themes, including:
• Updating the academic curriculum to keep pace with rapid technological advancements in the field of electronics.
• Aligning learning outcomes with the evolving needs of the job market, particularly in the industrial and medical sectors.
• Supporting applied graduation projects and linking them to real-world challenges faced by industrial institutions.
• Enhancing opportunities for summer internships and employment through stronger collaboration with both public and private sector organizations.
• Reviewing the educational program’s objectives and course content in line with national and international academic accreditation standards.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the board issued a set of strategic recommendations aimed at strengthening the competence of the department’s graduates, improving the quality of education, and fostering greater integration between academic knowledge and practical application—ultimately supporting the advancement of the industrial and medical sectors in Iraq.
