As part of the activities of the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division, and within its annual plan, the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Information Technology organized a training course entitled “How to Design an Accounting Information System” on Sunday, November 16, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Mona Salem Hussein Al-Sayegh and targeted students and graduates of the college with the aim of enhancing their knowledge and developing their skills in the field of accounting system design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course included a detailed explanation of the design steps and procedures, and highlighted the importance of linking the accounting information system to databases, which contributes to increasing the efficiency and transparency of financial information production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecturer also addressed the important role that accounting information systems play in the modern job market, and presented a practical example using an ERP system integrated with the accounting information system of an industrial company, illustrating how to integrate the sales, inventory, and cost systems to produce accurate, real-time reports. This practical component provided participants with the opportunity to acquire applied skills that they can utilize in the future when entering the job market and securing employment opportunities in companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop is part of the college’s efforts to prepare students for the job market and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and the required practical skills. The workshop witnessed remarkable interaction from the participants, including constructive discussions and an exchange of ideas, which contributed to broadening the students’ understanding of modern project management mechanisms and the importance of using specialized tools in this field<\/p>\n\n\n\n
