With the ongoing supervision and support of the Dean of the College of Information Technology, and as part of the series of scientific achievements by our university’s faculty members, Mr. Mohammed Yassin Al-Hayani, a faculty member in the Software Department, published a distinguished research paper in the journal Technologies, published by the international publishing house MDPI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The research paper is titled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA Comparative Study of Machine and Deep Learning Approaches for Smart Contract Vulnerability Detection.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This publication is a significant addition to the college’s scientific standing, as the journal is ranked in the first quartile (Q1) of the Scopus database, reflecting the quality of research output by our faculty and their ability to compete in international forums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This research presents an in-depth comparative study between machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) techniques for securing smart contracts in blockchain environments. The results demonstrate the superiority of the Random Forest algorithm in accurately detecting software vulnerabilities, thus contributing to reducing financial and technical risks in this vital field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wish Mr. Mohammed Al-Hayani continued success and further scientific contributions to our college and esteemed university<\/p>\n\n\n\n
