In accordance with the directives of the President of Nineveh University, Prof. Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, and with direct support from the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Zina Ghanem Al-Obeidi, the College of Law at Nineveh University organized a training workshop for the members and staff of the Nineveh Provincial Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Hussein Akla Khafaji, a faculty member at the College of Law. It focused on defining the oversight powers of provincial councils and the mechanisms of oversight. The workshop spanned two consecutive days and was attended by a large number of participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the sessions, the oversight powers of provincial councils were thoroughly explained, highlighting their role as the highest legislative and oversight authority in the provinces.
