As part of ongoing efforts to promote the values of social peace and strengthen the principles of coexistence among the diverse components of society, the University Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Law organized a distinguished scientific seminar on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, entitled \u201cEnhancing Community Security and Protecting Diversity and Peaceful Coexistence.\u201d<\/em> The event was held under the slogan: \u201cA Unified Federal Iraq\u2026 Security Governed by Justice and Equality for the Achievement of Stability and Development.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n The seminar commenced with a speech by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Zeina Ghanem Al-Obaidi, who emphasized the importance of collectively standing for justice against hatred, for equality against discrimination, and for coexistence against division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The seminar was honored by the esteemed presence of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Their participation added significant value and importance to the seminar\u2019s proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The seminar featured a series of relevant research papers, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The seminar also included a recognition ceremony honoring the contributors of outstanding research papers, where commemorative shields were awarded in appreciation of their academic efforts. Additionally, copies of the Nineveh Journal for Legal Studies<\/em> were distributed in support of academic activity and to encourage rigorous research that contributes to serving and developing society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This seminar reflected the importance of joint collaboration between academic and religious institutions in building a cohesive society characterized by security and justice\u2014one that embraces diversity as a source of strength rather than division.
