A new year for Ninevah University College of Medicine was inaugurated by the President of Ninevah University Prof. Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayat.
His excellence presided an expanded meeting of the faculty members in Al-Hikma Hall, being accompanied by the Administrative and Scientific Affairs Assistants.
The meeting started by presenting a summary of the important events by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ilham Al-Jammas.
In her presentation, the dean mentioned the numbers of students admitted to the college, the number of the graduates and the number of teaching staff, technical and administrative staff. In addition she mentioned the developments in the college infrastructure and laboratory equipment.
The President of the University then came across the achievements of the departments and divisions of the presidency and the achievements of the, relatively young, Ninevah University during the past year, that pushed the wheel of the university and raised its quality.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayat praised the cadres of the Faculty of Medicine and described it as being a title of creativity and a basic nucleus for building a society full of distinguished medical personnel.
