About the Department<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The department was established in 2024 to teach the effects and effectiveness of drugs on various body organs and tissues, their side effects and interactions, and the effectiveness of drugs and some products with biological effects on cells and living organisms. It also studies the harmful effects of chemical, physical, and biological factors on living organisms and ecosystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The curriculum is based on a deep understanding of the pathophysiology of various diseases and an understanding of pharmacology and toxicology. This enables students to link drug effects to disease mechanisms and enhance their ability to choose appropriate treatments based on scientific evidence. The department also focuses on enhancing students’ ability to work with laboratory animals such as mice, rats, and rabbits and to study the physiology and effects of drugs on these animals, which contributes to strengthening the theoretical aspect of the subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The department contributes to preparing pharmacists to provide pharmaceutical and toxicological consultations in healthcare institutions. It also encourages scientific research in the field of drug development and the study of their biological effects, enhancing the efficiency of graduates in the pharmaceutical and research labor market, enabling students to raise community awareness of the dangers of drugs and their misuse.<\/p>\n<\/div>
