{"id":10496,"date":"2026-11-08T18:47:47","date_gmt":"2026-11-08T15:47:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uoninevah.edu.iq\/pharmacy\/?p=10496"},"modified":"2026-11-08T18:47:48","modified_gmt":"2026-11-08T15:47:48","slug":"the-dean-of-the-college-of-pharmacy-at-the-university-of-nineveh-publishes-a-scientific-research-paper-in-a-prestigious-international-journal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uoninevah.edu.iq\/pharmacy\/en\/the-dean-of-the-college-of-pharmacy-at-the-university-of-nineveh-publishes-a-scientific-research-paper-in-a-prestigious-international-journal\/","title":{"rendered":"The Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh Publishes a Scientific Research Paper in a Prestigious International Journal."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In recognition of the distinguished scientific and academic presence of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh, the Dean of the College, <strong>Prof. Dr. Maysar Mohammed Ali Al-Qutji<\/strong>, has co-authored a scientific research paper entitled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cEnteric-Coated Metformin Tablets: In vitro Release and Metabolic Outcomes in High Fat Diet Fed Rats\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The research was published in the <em>Journal of Pharmaceutical Innovation<\/em>, a prestigious international journal published by <strong>Springer Nature<\/strong>, in Volume 22 (2027).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study focused on the development of enteric-coated metformin tablets and the investigation of their drug-release characteristics and metabolic effects. This was achieved through in vitro evaluation of their performance and assessment of their outcomes in an animal model of rats fed a high-fat diet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The findings demonstrated that the enteric coatings effectively minimized drug release under acidic conditions while ensuring rapid release in a medium simulating the intestinal environment.
