In line with the directives of the Presidency of the University of Ninevah aimed at promoting health and psychological awareness among students and staff, the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, organized a scientific symposium entitled \u201cMental Health and Its Relation to Physical Health\u201d on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Dr. Khalil Al-Sayyid Mar\u2019i Hall in the College of Information Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The symposium aimed to shed light on the strong connection between mental health and physical well-being. The speakers emphasized that achieving psychological balance directly contributes to the prevention of many physical illnesses and enhances overall quality of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lectures were delivered by:
\u2022 Dr. Ghufran Ali Al-Obaidi \u2013 Nineveh Health Directorate
\u2022 Dr. Abeer Mansour Abdul-Rasool \u2013 College of Pharmacy
\u2022 Asst. Lecturer Israa Abbas Ali \u2013 College of Pharmacy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the conclusion of the symposium, Asst. Dean for Administrative Affairs Dr. Omar Thanoon presented certificates of appreciation to the speakers in recognition of their valuable efforts and their contribution to enriching the symposium with both scientific and practical insights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
