The College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh conducted a scientific experiment in the college garden, in the presence of the Dean, Professor Dr. Maysar Mohammed Al-Qoutji, and with the participation of a number of students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The experiment was carried out \u0636\u0645\u0646 the Physical Pharmacy course and supervised by the course instructor, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Saad Al-Diwehji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The experiment demonstrated the behavior of non-Newtonian fluids, which flow easily under slow movement but exhibit increased viscosity and transition into a \u0634\u0628\u0647-solid state when subjected to sudden stress, due to the closer proximity of particles and increased intermolecular friction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dean emphasized the importance of this phenomenon in the pharmaceutical field, particularly in the formulation of dosage forms such as creams and ointments. He also highlighted its medical applications, including intra-articular injections of hyaluronic acid, which function to reduce friction and absorb shock within the joint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This experiment is part of a series of scientific activities aimed at simplifying theoretical concepts and linking them to practical applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
