As part of its continuous efforts to keep pace with scientific and technological advancements in pharmaceutical education, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh has introduced advanced computer-based molecular simulation experiments<\/strong>, under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Noor Al-Din<\/strong>, with the participation of laboratory instructors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These experiments incorporate modern practical applications that enable students to study the properties of drug molecules and predict their biological behavior by applying the principles of the structure\u2013activity relationship (SAR)<\/strong>. The exercises also include the analysis of potential metabolic products of drug molecules and the investigation of their binding mechanisms to pharmacological receptors, thereby enhancing a deeper understanding of drug action at the molecular level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative contributes to bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, empowering students to acquire advanced analytical and technical skills. It also broadens their scientific perspectives and strengthens their understanding of contemporary medicinal chemistry, in alignment with labor market demands and the rapid advancements in pharmaceutical sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
