{"id":9644,"date":"2026-09-03T09:11:32","date_gmt":"2026-09-03T06:11:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uoninevah.edu.iq\/pharmacy\/?p=9644"},"modified":"2026-09-03T09:11:34","modified_gmt":"2026-09-03T06:11:34","slug":"dean-of-the-college-of-pharmacy-at-the-university-of-nineveh-participates-in-the-examination-of-a-masters-thesis-at-the-university-of-mosul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uoninevah.edu.iq\/pharmacy\/en\/dean-of-the-college-of-pharmacy-at-the-university-of-nineveh-participates-in-the-examination-of-a-masters-thesis-at-the-university-of-mosul\/","title":{"rendered":"Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh Participates in the Examination of a Master\u2019s Thesis at the University of Mosul"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the context of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation between the University of Nineveh and the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Maysar Mohammed Ali Al-Qoutji, Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh, participated as a member and supervisor in the examination of a master\u2019s thesis submitted by postgraduate student Bushra Mohammed Yassin Hamdoon at the College of Pharmacy, University of Mosul, on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The thesis, entitled <strong>\u201cEnteric-Coated Metformin Tablets: Characteristics and Novel Application,\u201d<\/strong> aimed to formulate and evaluate enteric-coated metformin tablets, investigate their efficacy, and compare their effects with those of immediate-release metformin and liraglutide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study findings demonstrated the potential of enteric coating as a strategy for targeted delivery of metformin to the intestine, with improvements observed in several metabolic parameters in experimental animals.
