The Department of Computer and Information Engineering was established at the beginning of the establishment of the college in July 2002. The department aims to prepare specialized engineers in the field of computer and information engineering to keep pace with the tremendous developments that have occurred in the field of the computer and software industry

The duration of study in the department is four academic years after the preparatory study. The department grants a Bachelor’s degree through both the evening and morning study programs in the specialization of Computer and Information Engineering

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has approved the establishment of a Master’s program in Computer and Information Engineering for the academic year 2012-2013. The department grants a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Engineering
