In March 2023, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, represented by the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, unveiled the “Study in Iraq” program for the academic year 2023-2024. This program aims to provide free scholarships to Arab and foreign students and researchers to obtain academic degrees (bachelor’s, higher diploma, master’s, and doctorate). Additionally, it supports Arab and foreign researchers who wish to conduct scientific or field research in Iraq or at one of the Iraqi educational institutions.
Through this program, the Ministry seeks to attract international students to enroll in the majors available at Iraqi universities. The goal is to enhance the global rankings of these universities, elevating them to the ranks of their counterparts in the Arab region and around the world. Scholarships within this initiative include a complete exemption from tuition fees and the provision of appropriate housing for students. This reflects the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing the academic environment and attracting scientific talent from around the globe.
Nineveh University is delighted to announce the opening of its doors to Arab and international students interested in pursuing a Master’s degree. We are offering a limited number of seats with several privileges, including fully paid tuition fees, reduced fees for on-campus housing, and facilitation of residency permit procedures.
