In a remarkable display of talent and dedication, students of the College of Law continue to excel across various fields, proving that excellence is not limited to academic performance alone. Their achievements reflect hard work, ambition, and commitment, showcased through the distinguished positions they secure in every activity they participate in.

In a notable accomplishment, Mustafa Hassan Mahmoud Hamid and Noor Ziyad Hashim Khalil achieved first and second place, respectively, as part of the University of Nineveh team participating in the Scouts and Guides Camp held in Kirkuk under the theme “Sustainability,” with participation from universities across Iraq.

In another achievement, Karim Nour Al-Din Saleh earned second place in the finals of the Swimming Championship organized by the University of Nineveh’s Department of Student Activities and hosted by the College of Nursing, with broad participation from students across different colleges.

Affirming the College’s commitment to supporting talent and empowering youth, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Zina Ghanem Al-Obaidi, honored the winning students with certificates of appreciation. She praised their strong spirit of initiative and determination, which was evident throughout their participation in various events. She emphasized that such distinguished representation is a true reflection of the students’ abilities and their continuous drive for excellence.

This recognition reflects the College’s pride in its students and encourages them to continue their efforts both on and off campus. The Dean concluded her remarks by wishing them further success and accomplishment, urging them to persist in shaping a brighter future.

Prof. Dr. Al-Obaidi also expressed her appreciation for the significant efforts of the Student Activities Unit, supervised by Asst. Lect. Amin Jalal, whose continuous work helps develop students’ skills, strengthen their participation in university activities, and foster a spirit of positive competition—contributing to building well-rounded students who combine academic excellence with athletic distinction.
