As part of the activities of the Science and Technology Parks Department / Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division, and in implementation of its annual plan, the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Law – University of Nineveh organized a two-day training workshop on Sunday and Monday, 12–13 April 2026, titled:
“Labor Market Requirements in the Field of Law.”

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Ammar Marai Hassan.

The training addressed the structure of the legal labor market and its ongoing transformations, including increasing competition, the impact of modern technologies on legal practice, and employment trends in both the public and private sectors. It also highlighted the key personal and technical skills required for a successful legal professional, in addition to strategies for effective career planning.

The workshop targeted both students and graduates of the College, aiming to enhance their knowledge and skills related to the legal job market and to improve their professional readiness.

The sessions witnessed strong engagement from participants, featuring constructive academic discussions and an exchange of experiences. This interaction contributed to expanding students’ perspectives, strengthening their academic and professional orientations, and equipping them with the tools needed to effectively navigate their future career paths.
