As part of the continuous efforts to support and monitor the educational process, the Dean’s Office of the College of Law welcomed this morning, Monday, October 20, 2025, the esteemed visit of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammed. He was received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Zeina Ghanem Al-Obaidi, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Adeeb Mohammed Jasim Al-Hamawi, along with a number of faculty members.
The purpose of the visit was to directly assess the college’s readiness to receive first-year students. During his visit, Prof. Dr. Jaafar conducted an inspection tour that included the examination committees and registration units, where he reviewed the operational mechanisms in place and the extent of the college’s compliance with university regulations related to exam management and student record organization.
During his meeting with the examination committee members, he emphasized the importance of accuracy and stressed the necessity of adhering to established systems and regulations.
He also showed particular interest in the registration units, listening to a detailed explanation of the student registration procedures. He commended the efforts made in updating data and organizing both electronic and paper files, highlighting the role these efforts play in streamlining procedures and improving services provided to students.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs expressed his deep appreciation for the academic and administrative efforts exerted by the college. He reaffirmed his full support for all initiatives that contribute to enhancing institutional performance and achieving comprehensive quality in education.
