In accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the directives of the President of the University of Nineveh, Prof. Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, and with the direct support and presence of the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Zeina Ghanem Al-Obaidi, the student elections to select a representative for the College of Law for the academic year 2025–2026 were held today, Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

This procedure represents an important step in reflecting the spirit of democracy and participation within the student community. Such elections are not merely formalities but rather a genuine opportunity to amplify the student voice within the educational institution and ensure their representation before the College administration and the broader university community.

The elected student representative serves as a vital link between the students and the College administration, conveying their demands, suggestions, and concerns directly. This role contributes significantly to improving the academic environment and providing better opportunities for students in academic, cultural, and social activities. Additionally, the election encourages students to practice civic engagement and social responsibility, thereby enhancing their leadership and teamwork skills.

The elections were conducted smoothly and with high precision, under the diligent supervision of the overseeing committee and with broad participation from the students of the College of Law. All participants expressed their hopes for a successful selection of a qualified representative who will fulfill the rights and responsibilities entrusted to this position effectively.
