My dear students, my esteemed colleagues on the faculty, and all visitors to the College of Law at the University of Nineveh,

It is my pleasure to welcome you all to our esteemed college, which strives to be a beacon of science and knowledge, and an academic center that keeps pace with scientific and legal developments, based on the authentic values ​​that uphold the principles of justice, truth, and the rule of law.

The College of Law at the University of Nineveh fulfills a noble mission: to prepare distinguished legal professionals who possess profound academic knowledge, the ability to analyze and reason legally, and the practical application of the principles of justice. We are also committed to ensuring that our graduates are able to contribute effectively to building a society governed by the rule of law and that respects rights and freedoms.

In this context, the college places great importance on developing its curricula to align with the latest legal developments both locally and internationally, promoting legal research that contributes to addressing contemporary issues, and encouraging student activities that enrich the academic experience and foster a culture of constructive legal dialogue.

We also emphasize the importance of cooperation with academic and legal institutions, both within and outside Iraq, to ​​exchange expertise, enhance the quality of legal education, and create training opportunities that allow our students to gain practical experience in the legal field through training programs and field visits.

Finally, I urge all our dear students to exert their utmost efforts in their pursuit of knowledge and to adhere to the highest ethical principles. I also call upon our esteemed professors to continue their scholarly contributions and to help realize the college’s vision of becoming a distinguished academic institution in the field of legal studies.
