About the branch

The branch is concerned with studying the legal relations between members of society and regulating their social lives. The private law branch covers a wide range of laws through teaching them during four academic years, the most important of which are civil law and contracts, commercial law and commercial arbitration, personal status law, private international law, and the law of litigation, evidence and enforcement.

The Private Law Department is one of the main departments in the College of Law. The Private Law Department was established in 2020 with the establishment of the college. The department is concerned with studying the legal relations between members of society and regulating their social lives. The Private Law Department covers a wide range of laws through teaching them during four academic years, the most important of which are civil law and contracts, commercial law and commercial arbitration, personal status law, private international law, and the law of litigation, evidence and enforcement, in addition to teaching the Arabic language. The department includes distinguished professors with high academic titles, and scientific and practical experience.
