College of Pharmacy Organizes Interactive Discussion Sessions in the “Medical Physics” Laboratory

To Enhance Learning Skills Among First-Year Students

As part of the scientific activities organized by the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh for the academic year 2025–2026, the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Medical Physics Laboratory held a series of scientific interactive discussion sessions for first-year students within the Medical Physics course on Sunday, 18 January 2026.

The sessions included the distribution of diverse scientific topics among the students, several of whom actively participated in research, preparation, presentation, and moderation of discussions within the laboratory setting. This approach provided students with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in an interactive manner and to develop their scientific presentation, communication, and discussion skills.

The students expressed their appreciation for this educational experience, highlighting the direct interaction and the adoption of learning methods distinct from traditional teaching approaches. This activity aims to enhance students’ scientific and research awareness, strengthen their sense of responsibility in managing discussion sessions, and diversify teaching and learning strategies in alignment with modern educational methodologies.
