Within the framework of strengthening scientific collaboration between the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh and the Nineveh Health Directorate, the Head of the Pharmaceutics Department, Dr. Yasser Hazim, delivered a distinguished scientific lecture to the staff of the Pharmacy Division, in the presence of the heads of sections and units at Al-Salam Teaching Hospital.
The lecture was part of the specialized Clinical Pharmacy Program and addressed the topic of acid–base balance disorders in the body, including their diagnostic mechanisms and their impact on organ functions, in addition to highlighting the role of the clinical pharmacist in patient monitoring and the provision of appropriate therapeutic support.
The session witnessed notable engagement from the trainees, owing to its clear scientific approach and practical clinical applications, which contribute to the development of their professional skills and enhance their readiness to work in healthcare institutions.
Such activities are part of a series of scientific programs aimed at advancing the academic and practical competencies of pharmacists, as well as strengthening integration between academic institutions and the healthcare sector.
