Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah Participates in the Meeting of the Committee of Pharmacy Deans in Iraqi Universities

The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Maysar Mohammed Ali Al-Qutjji, participated in the in-person meeting of the Deans of Pharmacy Colleges in Iraq, held in Baghdad on Thursday, 13 November 2025. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Munther Faisal Al-Aamery, Head of the Committee of Pharmacy Deans, and attended by a number of deans from various Iraqi pharmacy colleges.

The meeting included discussions of several academic and scientific topics related to the educational process, including the determination of subjects for the national competency examination for the 2025–2026 academic year, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and reviewing and updating the curricula in alignment with contemporary global standards in pharmacy education.

The meeting concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at strengthening institutional and scientific integration among all pharmacy colleges in Iraq, thereby contributing to the advancement and quality assurance of pharmacy education, enhancing the competencies of graduates to meet labor-market needs, and supporting the development of health and pharmaceutical services in the country.
