On Sunday, 16 November 2025, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh, Asst. Prof. Dr. Maisar Mohammed Ali Al-Qutji, met with the first-year students admitted to the College for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Diwaji, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Lect. Dr. Omar Thanoon.
At the outset of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the students and congratulated them on the beginning of their university journey. He introduced them to the regulations, rules, and guidelines governing university life, emphasizing the importance of the relationship between faculty members and students—a relationship founded on respect first and knowledge second. He also highlighted the necessity of a paternal-like relationship between instructors and students, as well as a spirit of brotherhood among the students themselves.
The Dean stressed the importance of adhering to all university laws and regulations.
In conclusion, he listened to the students’ inquiries and addressed them in accordance with the applicable instructions and guidelines, wishing everyone success and progress in their academic pursuits.
