Under the patronage of the President of the University of Nineveh, Prof. Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Maysar Mohammed Ali Al-Qutji, the College of Pharmacy hosted the Table Tennis Championship for students of the University of Nineveh, organized by the Department of Student Affairs at the University Presidency in collaboration with the Student Activities Units in the colleges. The event took place on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the premises of the College of Pharmacy.
The championship witnessed wide participation from students representing all university colleges and was marked by an atmosphere of enthusiasm and fair competition, reflecting a strong spirit of sportsmanship and cooperation among the participants. The final results were as follows:
First Place: Zaid Iyad – College of Electronics Engineering
Second Place: Mohammed Anas – College of Engineering
Third Place: Ameen Bahaa Al-Deen – College of Pharmacy
At the conclusion of the event, trophies and awards were presented to the winners in the presence of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy and the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Omar Thanon, who extended their congratulations to the winners and wished continued success to all students participating in future tournaments.
The Department of Student Activities at the University Presidency expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the College of Pharmacy for its excellent organization and warm hospitality, as well as to the judging and technical committees for their valuable contributions to the success of the championship and for presenting it in a manner befitting the academic stature of the University of Nineveh.
