In its ongoing efforts to advance the educational process and enhance quality standards, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh organized an online scientific lecture entitled “Preparation for Academic Accreditation” on Sunday, August 10, 2025, under the supervision and in the presence of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Maisar Mohammed Ali Al-Qutji.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Jeanatte Baird from the Australian University in Melbourne, an expert consultant in higher education, quality assurance, and university governance.
The event witnessed notable attendance from the College’s faculty and staff. It aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of academic accreditation requirements and global quality standards in pharmaceutical education.
The lecture addressed several key topics, including:
Foundations and standards of academic accreditation specific to colleges of pharmacy.
Building a culture of quality and developing academic and administrative practices.
Reviewing the most prominent challenges facing modern colleges and effective approaches to addressing them.
This lecture is part of a series of scientific and educational activities organized by the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh, aimed at keeping pace with global developments in pharmaceutical education and strengthening the College’s academic standing.
