Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, President of the University of Ninevah, and the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Maysar Al-Qutji, Dean of the College of Pharmacy—and in line with its humanitarian mission and community initiatives aimed at promoting the values of social solidarity—the College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah organized a charitable bazaar on Monday, October 27, 2025, in collaboration with the Umm Al-Rabeein Development Foundation for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Mazahim Al-Khayyat, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Higher Education, whose attendance added significant value and distinction to the event.
The bazaar, which will run for two days, features a variety of handicrafts, accessories, and traditional Mosuli foods, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting the Foundation’s projects that aim to enhance services provided to the blind and visually impaired.
The opening activities began with a blessed recitation from the Holy Qur’an delivered by a member of the Foundation, followed by the official ribbon-cutting by Dr. Mazahim Al-Khayyat, marking the commencement of the charitable bazaar.
At the conclusion of the event, attendees expressed their appreciation for the efforts behind this humanitarian initiative, which reflects the university’s deep sense of social responsibility. They affirmed that such initiatives embody the College of Pharmacy’s commitment to empowering people of determination and integrating them into the broader journey of development and giving.
