Within the framework of the Continuing Education Unit’s activities at the College of Pharmacy, the College Dean’s Office organized, on Monday, September 15, 2025, a scientific lecture entitled “Immuno Chromatography Technique”, delivered by Lecturer Mustafa Ghanem Ismail.
The lecture was attended by the Dean of the College, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maiser Mohammed Ali Al-Qutji, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Diwaji, as well as a number of faculty members.
The lecture addressed an introductory overview of the technique, its fundamental principles, and operational mechanisms. It further emphasized the major advantages of immuno chromatography in comparison with other laboratory diagnostic methods, in addition to discussing its practical applications and the medical assays in which it is employed. Applied examples were also presented to illustrate its use in modern diagnostic laboratories.
This activity constitutes part of a series of scientific events designed to enhance the academic and professional awareness of the College’s faculty and students, and to acquaint them with the most recent advances in contemporary diagnostic techniques that contribute to supporting both the educational and research processes.
