The Council of the College of Electronics Engineering held its twenty-fifth session, chaired by the Dean of the College and attended by the Council members, to discuss a number of academic and administrative issues included on its agenda, with the aim of enhancing the quality of academic and administrative performance within the College.
The session commenced with the discussion of the reports submitted by the scientific committees in the academic departments, followed by the adoption of the necessary decisions. The Council also reviewed academic promotion files for faculty members, considered requests for extensions of the study period for a number of postgraduate students, and approved the distribution of postgraduate research projects in accordance with the academic specializations and departmental plans.
In addition, the Council discussed requests for the registration of faculty research projects, as part of its commitment to supporting scientific research and strengthening the College’s research output. A number of other academic and administrative matters listed on the agenda were also reviewed.
At the conclusion of the session, the Council adopted a number of decisions and recommendations regarding the issues discussed, in accordance with the applicable regulations and in support of the College’s academic and scientific mission.
