In accordance with the directives of the President of Nineveh University, Prof. Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, and with direct support from the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Zina Ghanem Al-Obeidi, a collaborative initiative between Nineveh University and other universities was established.

On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, Dr. Abdullah Salem Abdullah, a faculty member in the College of Law and Head of the Government Contracts Department at the university, conducted a workshop at Al-Hamdaniya University titled “Developing Legal Skills.” This lecture is part of the strategic plan for education and higher education (2022-2031) and was overseen by the Continuing Education Department at Al-Hamdaniya University.

The workshop aimed to introduce legal skills and methods for their development, covering several key topics, including personal status law, marriage eligibility, issues of alimony, types of divorce, marriage of minors, and age of marriage. The lecturer provided a detailed explanation of each topic in accordance with Iraqi legislation. The session also included a discussion segment where attendees could ask questions and seek clarifications.

Both universities look forward to further collaboration and progress in the future.
