The honorable Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Zeina Ghanem Al-Obaidi, chaired the fourth meeting of the College of Law Council, held in the presence of the esteemed council members.

The session began with a welcoming address by the Chairperson, followed by a review of the council’s agenda, with key discussions focusing on the following matters:

• The implementation of the Bologna Process and its potential application to improve the quality of education at the college.
• The progress of the mid-term exams for the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, as planned.
• The council also addressed a memorandum submitted by the Examination and Evaluation Committee.

Additionally, the council discussed important points raised in the minutes of the Public Law Department, with particular emphasis on the regulations for forming academic committees. The meeting further included a review of the student discipline memorandum issued by the College’s Student Discipline Committee.

Prof. Dr. Al-Obaidi emphasized the importance of focusing on initiatives that would elevate the academic standards of the College of Law, striving for excellence in both the academic and administrative spheres.
