Under the patronage and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Maisar Al-Qutaji, and with the attendance of the vice deans and heads of departments, the college inaugurated its “Laboratory Day” initiative on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. This initiative aims to enhance scientific collaboration and facilitate the exchange and cross-pollination of ideas among faculty members and laboratory supervisors.
The initiative included field visits led by the Dean, accompanied by the college’s academic staff, to various laboratories within the college. During these visits, direct meetings were held with laboratory supervisors, who provided comprehensive explanations regarding the function of each laboratory, showcased the advanced equipment and technologies available, and highlighted the unique research capabilities offered.
Discussions during “Laboratory Day” also focused on generating innovative graduation project ideas tailored to students’ research interests and areas of specialization for the upcoming academic year. Furthermore, the initiative explored the potential for launching collaborative research projects that would enrich scientific knowledge across multiple disciplines.
At the conclusion of the tour, Dr. Al-Qutaji emphasized the significance of such initiatives and academic engagements in stimulating a vibrant research environment and propelling scientific innovation within the college.
