As part of the implementation of the scientific cooperation memorandum between the University of Nineveh and its counterpart, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Malaysia, a specialized virtual lecture was held on the morning of Wednesday, June 18, 2025. The lecture was delivered by a group of distinguished Malaysian academics to the faculty members of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh.
The session focused on the concept of program accreditation for colleges of pharmacy from the Malaysian perspective. It highlighted the academic standards and procedures followed at UiTM, aiming to enhance the quality of academic programs and promote the exchange of expertise between both institutions.
The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Maisar Al-Qutaji, alongside faculty members, accreditation coordinators, the Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University of Nineveh, and a number of individuals interested in advancing scientific collaboration.
This promising academic partnership represents a significant step toward mutual knowledge exchange and the development of educational programs at the College of Pharmacy, University of Nineveh. It is expected to contribute to the graduation of highly qualified pharmaceutical professionals aligned with global advancements in the field.
