In line with the directives of the University Presidency and as part of the College of Pharmacy’s commitment to active participation in all scientific and academic activities for the purpose of exchanging expertise,
Assistant Lecturer Wurqa Omar Abd from the College of Pharmacy, University of Nineveh, participated virtually in the 15th International Scientific Conference on Pure, Applied, and Technological Sciences (MINAR CONGRESS 15), which was held in Istanbul, Turkey, from July 23 to 25, 2025. The conference witnessed broad participation from distinguished researchers and experts representing various Arab and international institutions.
The participation included the presentation of a scientific research paper entitled:
“Calculation of Mean Hourly Solar Radiation on Horizontal Surfaces”,
which focused on a study conducted in the city of Mosul, comparing five different mathematical models to calculate the hourly components of solar radiation—**global, direct, and diffuse—**incident on a horizontal surface.
The main objective of the conference was to foster knowledge exchange among researchers, showcase the latest developments in applied sciences and technology, and promote the dissemination of original research while addressing the current challenges facing various scientific disciplines.
