Within the framework of the activities organized by the Division of Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up at the University of Nineveh, the Qualification and Employment Unit at the College of Pharmacy held a specialized lecture on Sunday, October 5, 2025, entitled “The Role of the Clinical Pharmacist in the Hospital,” which took place in Hall 1A of the college.
The lecture was attended by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Maysar Muhammad Ali Al-Qutaji, the deputy deans, as well as a number of faculty members, students, and graduates.
The lecture was delivered by clinical pharmacist Mr. Ibrahim Ismail Sado from the Nineveh Health Directorate. During the lecture, he addressed the vital role played by clinical pharmacists in hospitals and healthcare institutions, highlighting their contribution to enhancing the quality of pharmaceutical care and ensuring patient safety.
The lecture aimed to develop the skills and knowledge of students and graduates in the field of clinical pharmacy, strengthen their readiness to enter the labor market, and present the latest scientific developments in hematology and oncology, emphasizing the clinical pharmacist’s role in monitoring these conditions.
The lecture was marked by active participation and valuable contributions from attendees, reflecting the students’ keen interest in their field of specialization and their professional future.
At the conclusion of the event, the Dean of the College presented a certificate of appreciation to the lecturer in recognition of his efforts in enriching the scientific knowledge of the college’s students.
