The College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah achieved first place among all Colleges of Pharmacy in Iraq’s public and private universities, attaining a distinction rate of 88% in the National Assessment Examination for the academic year 2024–2025, conducted under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
This outstanding achievement represents the result of comprehensive academic and administrative efforts, guided by the dedicated leadership and close follow-up of the Dean of the College, with strong support from the Associate Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs and the Heads of Scientific Departments. Together, they worked as a unified team to provide a stimulating academic environment and to ensure the implementation of the highest standards of quality and performance in the assessment examinations.
In a statement, Assistant Professor Dr. Maysar Al-Qutaji, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, emphasized that this accomplishment is a culmination of the collective efforts of the faculty, administrative staff, and students. He noted that it reflects the college’s academic excellence and organizational efficiency, underscoring the advanced standing that the University of Ninevah has achieved within Iraq’s higher education landscape.
For its part, the Presidency of the University of Ninevah, represented by Professor Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, the University President, extended its sincere congratulations and appreciation to the college’s administration, staff, and students. The University commended this remarkable scientific achievement as a valuable addition to its record of academic and research excellence, affirming that such success exemplifies the University’s strategic vision toward leadership in higher education and community service.
