In line with the vision of the Deanery of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah to support active academic engagement and enhance the presence of its faculty members in international scientific forums, Dr. Younis Ahmed Ismail, a faculty member of the college, participated in the 9th International Conference on Technology, Engineering, and Sciences (ICONTES), held in Antalya, Turkey, from 12–15 November 2025.
His participation included presenting his research paper titled:
“Eco-Friendly Recovery Method for Manufacturing Flexible Pavers Tile Construction from Waste Plastics,”
which introduces an innovative scientific approach for recycling plastic waste and converting it into flexible construction materials, in alignment with global trends promoting sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of waste.
The conference witnessed broad participation from researchers and experts representing universities and research centers from various countries around the world. Its scientific sessions provided a significant platform for presenting the latest developments and discussing leading research in technology, engineering, and science.
This participation reflects the College of Pharmacy’s commitment to elevating the level of scientific research, engaging with international experiences, and reinforcing its role in keeping pace with scientific advancements that contribute to the development of both the academic and service sectors in Iraq.
