Dean’s Message

Inspired by the motto of the University of Nineveh, “Read, and your Lord is the Most Generous,” the College of Pharmacy aspires to be a pioneer among its counterparts in Iraq in advancing the pursuit of knowledge and scientific research, and in graduating competent pharmacists who fulfill the anticipated professional role. The establishment of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh represents a new cornerstone added to this young university. Located on the right bank of the city of Mosul, the University currently constitutes the largest governmental institution in this part of the city following the extensive destruction it has endured. While the College assumes a fundamental role in knowledge and education, it also places at the forefront of its priorities the service of the community, its people, and the hometown of its members, utilizing all available resources. The responsibility entrusted to the staff of this institution is substantial, as the phase of establishment and development requires intensified efforts. I am fully confident that our academic and administrative staff recognize this responsibility and are striving diligently to exert their utmost efforts to elevate this new academic edifice, guided by the spirit of teamwork as a core institutional approach. I extend my best wishes to our dear students for excellence, and to our College, our University, and our city for continued prosperity and distinction.
