In an effort to enhance the culture of quality and consolidate the concepts of academic accreditation, the Quality Assurance and University Performance Unit at the College of Pharmacy organized a scientific workshop entitled “Programmatic Work Policies and Their Role in Achieving Programmatic Accreditation”, held on Sunday, 8 February 2026, at the College’s main hall.
The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mayser Al-Qoutji, along with all heads of departments, divisions, and units concerned with programmatic work policies. The workshop was delivered by Mr. Abdulmawjood Abdulwahid, Head of the Committee for Reviewing Regulations and Policies Related to Quality and Institutional and Academic Accreditation. During the workshop, he addressed the mechanisms for preparing and drafting programmatic accreditation standards, with a focus on the required evidence and documentation, their implementation, and adherence to the timelines set by the relevant committees.
The lecturer also emphasized the importance of preparing the self-study report in accordance with approved laws and regulations, noting that this step constitutes one of the fundamental pillars for meeting academic accreditation requirements and standards, thereby contributing to the advancement of the educational process and the quality of its outcomes.
