Following a gracious invitation from the Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Noor University, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Qutaiba Al-Layla, and in the presence of a distinguished group of specialized academics and college deans, a scientific symposium was held on the morning of Saturday, March 28, 2026. The event was attended by Professor Dr. Maysar Mohammed Al-Qoutji, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, accompanied by the Heads of Departments at the college, Assistant Professor Dr. Saif Khalid Yahya and Dr. Yasser Hazim.
The symposium, organized by the College of Pharmacy at Al-Noor University, witnessed the launch of the “Al-Noor Initiative for Medication Adherence,” which aims to promote the concept of adherence to therapeutic regimens among patients and the wider community, as well as to enhance awareness of proper pharmaceutical practices.
The participation of the Dean and the Heads of Departments underscores the commitment of academic institutions to supporting high-quality initiatives and reflects the vision of the University of Nineveh in fostering collaboration with its academic partners. It also highlights its active role in advancing the healthcare and pharmaceutical landscape in Iraq, in service of the community and the promotion of public health.
