The College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh organizes a scientific competition to enhance pharmaceutical skills.

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Maysar Mohammed Al-Qoutji, and under the supervision of a number of faculty members, the Deanship of the College of Pharmacy organized a distinguished scientific competition for college students on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, entitled “Drug Heroes.”

The competition targeted third-year students and was conducted in a dynamic academic atmosphere characterized by enthusiasm and positive engagement. It aimed to strengthen students’ pharmaceutical knowledge and develop their clinical reasoning and scientific analytical skills through a diverse range of scientific questions covering pharmacology and drug mechanisms of action.

The event witnessed active student participation, as teams competed through organized scientific rounds that demonstrated an advanced academic standard, reflecting the students’ commitment to enhancing their educational competencies and refining their scientific skills.

At the conclusion of the event, the winning students were honored in recognition of their excellence, with emphasis placed on the importance of sustaining such scientific activities, given their valuable role in supporting the educational process and fostering a spirit of positive academic competition among students.
