A Researcher from the College of Pharmacy at Ninevah University Participates in Implementing Advanced Laboratory Techniques in the Field of Histology.

Within the framework of scientific collaboration and the exchange of academic expertise between universities and research institutions, Assistant Lecturer Firas Salah, a faculty member of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the College of Pharmacy, Ninevah University, and the supervisor of the Animal House Unit at the college, participated in conducting a highly specialized laboratory procedure considered among the advanced and rare techniques implemented at Iraqi academic institutions.

The work involved performing brain extraction procedures from laboratory mice followed by precise dissection and isolation of a specific brain region known as the Hippocampus under a laboratory microscope, for the purposes of scientific research and advanced experimental studies related to neuroscience and pharmacological research.

This participation comes within the framework of supporting academic and research cooperation between universities, enhancing practical skills and advanced laboratory techniques in the field of animal research, and contributing to the support of undergraduate and postgraduate students in completing graduation projects, master’s theses, and doctoral dissertations, thereby advancing the scientific and research standards.
