College of Pharmacy Organizes a Scientific Lecture on the Fundamentals of Clinical Research Design

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the skills of its faculty members and promote a culture of scientific research, the College of Pharmacy at Ninevah University organized an in-person scientific lecture on Monday, June 8, 2026, entitled:

“Introduction to Study Design in Clinical Research”

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Omar Dhnoon, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, in the college hall, with the attendance of a number of faculty members.

The lecture addressed the fundamental principles of clinical research design and the various study designs commonly used in medical research. It also highlighted the importance of selecting an appropriate study design to ensure the accuracy of results and the quality of scientific research.

The session witnessed active engagement from the attendees through discussions and the exchange of perspectives regarding the major challenges encountered by researchers in the field of clinical research.

This lecture forms part of the College’s scientific activities aimed at strengthening the research capabilities of its academic staff and enhancing the quality of scientific and academic productivity.
