On Sunday, 2 August 2026, the College of Pharmacy, University of Nineveh, welcomed the Ministerial Committee assigned to evaluate the scientific and academic status of the Colleges of Pharmacy at Iraqi public universities for the 2025–2026 academic year. The committee was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed, with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Abdulhakim Hamed and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zaid Muwaffaq Younis serving as members.
The committee was received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Maysar Mohammed Al-Qoutji, together with the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Diowa’ji, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Lect. Dr. Omar Dhnoon.
During the visit, the committee reviewed the College’s infrastructure, available educational and research facilities, modern scientific equipment, and laboratory resources. The evaluation also highlighted the College’s commitment to providing a high-quality academic environment that supports excellence in pharmaceutical education and scientific training.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Ministerial Committee expressed its high appreciation for the efforts of the College’s Deanship and its continuous commitment to providing an integrated educational environment that keeps pace with developments in pharmaceutical education. The committee also commended the advanced laboratory equipment, modern teaching facilities, and well-equipped classrooms, which collectively support the academic mission of the University of Nineveh.
