For the Third Consecutive Year… the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh Tops the National Results of the Comprehensive Assessment Examination in Iraq

A new academic achievement further consolidates the distinguished position of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh among Iraq’s leading institutions of pharmaceutical education, reflecting the sustained academic efforts and the College’s commitment to educational quality and learning outcomes.

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh achieved first place among colleges of pharmacy across Iraqi public universities and private colleges in the results of the Comprehensive Assessment Examination for the 2025–2026 academic year, conducted under the supervision and follow-up of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This achievement marks the College’s continued presence at the top of the national rankings for the third consecutive year.

According to the announced results, the College achieved an overall success rate of 91.37% across all subjects and the five academic stages. This performance placed the College ahead of a number of pharmacy colleges throughout Iraq, reflecting the high academic standard of its students and the efficiency of its educational and academic practices.

This achievement is the outcome of sustained efforts by the Deanship of the College of Pharmacy, represented by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Maysar Mohammed Ali Al-Qoutji, in collaboration with the Assistant Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, heads of the academic departments, and the College’s faculty members. It also reflects the continuous support provided by the Presidency of the University of Nineveh, represented by the University President, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, through providing the necessary requirements for successfully conducting the comprehensive assessment examinations, establishing an appropriate academic environment, and addressing challenges that may affect students.

On this occasion, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy extends his sincere thanks and appreciation to all members of the College and its students in recognition of their dedication, commitment, and distinguished academic performance, which contributed significantly to achieving this excellence and maintaining the College’s leading position at the national level.

This achievement further demonstrates that the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh is steadily advancing toward consolidating standards of academic excellence and educational quality. The College’s successive achievements are not isolated accomplishments, but rather the outcome of integrated institutional efforts and a genuine partnership among the administration, faculty members, and students, in alignment with the University of Nineveh’s mission to provide rigorous education and develop highly competitive and distinguished graduates.
