As part of the joint scientific cooperation agreement between the College of Pharmacy at Ninevah University and the Nineveh Health Directorate, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Maysar Mohammed Ali Al-Qutji, delivered a specialized scientific lecture to pharmacists enrolled in the PGY1 Clinical Pharmacy Training Program at Al-Salam Teaching Hospital, in the presence of several heads of departments and units within the hospital.
Entitled “Drug Stability After Preparation,” the lecture addressed key scientific aspects of pharmaceutical stability, including the concept of drug stability, factors influencing the stability of pharmaceutical preparations following compounding or reconstitution, and best practices for their storage and handling to preserve therapeutic efficacy and ensure safe use in clinical practice.
This lecture forms part of a series of scientific and professional development activities aimed at advancing the knowledge and practical competencies of pharmacists while strengthening collaboration and integration between academic institutions and the healthcare sector.
