College of Pharmacy Showcases the Research Output of Fifth-Year Students During Graduation Project Discussions

As part of its commitment to supporting scientific research and enhancing academic learning outcomes, the College of Pharmacy at Ninevah University organized graduation project discussion and evaluation sessions for fifth-year students on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, for the 2025–2026 academic year. The sessions were conducted with the participation of specialized scientific committees comprising experts from both within and outside the University.

During the sessions, students presented their research projects before the evaluation committees, which assessed the projects according to approved academic standards, thereby contributing to the development of students’ research skills and critical thinking abilities.

As part of the joint cooperation agreements, the College hosted a number of academics and specialists from University of Mosul, Al-Noor University, and the Nineveh Health Directorate to participate in the evaluation committees, including:

  • Associate Professor Dr. Omar Qutaiba Al-Laila, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Al-Noor University.
  • Lecturer Dr. Thamer Abduljabbar Omar, College of Pharmacy, University of Mosul.
  • Dr. Mustafa Basil Mohammed, Nineveh Health Directorate.
  • Dr. Mohammed Farhan Ali, Nineveh Health Directorate.
  • Dr. Rand Idrees Dhnoon, Nineveh Health Directorate.

The projects covered a wide range of topics in pharmaceutical, medical, and chemical sciences, as well as healthcare-related fields, reflecting the students’ academic competence and the College’s commitment to keeping pace with recent developments and labor market demands.

At the conclusion of the event, the College Deanery honored the members of the scientific committees with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their valuable efforts and contributions to the success of this academic activity.
