As part of the joint scientific cooperation agreement between the College of Pharmacy at Ninevah University and the Nineveh Health Directorate, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Maysar Mohammed Ali Al-Qutji, held a coordination meeting with the Director of Al-Salam Teaching Hospital, Consultant Physician Dr. Mudhar Saad Al-Din Al-Omari, together with the clinical training coordinators, on the morning of Monday, 13 July 2026.
The meeting included comprehensive discussions on the current status of the College’s clinical training program conducted in teaching hospitals. Participants reviewed the practical training experiences of pharmacy students, identified the major challenges encountered during their clinical placements, and explored strategies to further enhance the program in line with the evolving requirements of contemporary pharmacy practice.
The meeting reflects the shared commitment of the College of Pharmacy and the Nineveh Health Directorate to strengthening academic-healthcare partnerships, improving the quality of experiential education, and ensuring that pharmacy students acquire the clinical competencies and professional skills required for successful practice in modern healthcare settings.
