In the presence of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Maysar Al-Qutaji, along with the Assistant Deans for Administrative and Scientific Affairs, and a distinguished group of professors and staff from the University of Nineveh, the College concluded on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, the activities of the course titled “Combating Financial and Administrative Corruption.”
The course was organized by the College of Pharmacy in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption Unit of the University Presidency’s Legal Affairs Department, and the Federal Commission of Integrity / Directorate of Investigations. Spanning two days, the course served as a vital platform to raise awareness about the dangers of corruption and effective methods to combat it.
The final day featured an insightful lecture by Dr. Yazan Saeb, Head of the Legal Affairs Department at the University Presidency, in which he addressed the concept of corruption, its various dimensions, and its devastating impacts at all levels. He also highlighted key methods and effective mechanisms for combating this serious issue.
Dean Dr. Maysar Al-Qutaji enriched the course with a valuable intervention, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts and the promotion of a culture of integrity and anti-corruption within educational institutions and society at large.
At the conclusion of the course, a Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Dr. Yazan Saeb in recognition of his outstanding efforts and valuable contributions to the course.
